Have you ever wondered how you can participate in the fight against depression? You've come to the right place! The Mood Disorders Society of Canada (MDSC) has already made a significant impact by raising over $3 million for mental health programs, resources, and services across Canada. With the support of our national and regional partners, we continue to empower mental health conversations and strive to reduce the stigma around mental illness. We warmly invite you to be a part of our mission to defeat depression and change the way society views mental illness by supporting mental health programming. Donate or register today, and let's make a difference together! #defeatdepression
Embrace New Ways to Fundraise and Support Local Mental Health Services:
Since the pandemic, Personal Defeat Depression events are encouraged. This means that you can choose the physical activity of your choice to complete a personal challenge activity between now and the end of May. Whether you walk around your block, run on a treadmill, ride a bike, or take a stroll on a trail, participants can participate in the campaign and support their local mental health services while maintaining physical distance this year.
After you have completed your virtual challenge activity, share a video or photo on your fundraising page and social media with the hashtag #DefeatDepression and mention/tag us: Twitter @DefDepression, Facebook @DefeatDepression.ca, Instagram @defeatdepression.ca.
